To establish whether the consumption of facilities complies with the regulations, the power or energy demand is calculated as the average of monthly billings, under normal operating conditions, measured at the individual delivery site during the last 6 months prior to the date on which the condition is checked. For these purposes, demands or consumptions of the different legalized installations may not be aggregated, whether they belong to a single user or to several.
The sale of energy is different from the distribution activity, which is carried out by the grid operator, who is in charge of delivering electrical energy to the end users, making use of the grids and being responsible for their maintenance.
